Container technology is booming, but tools and techniques to run containers in production have not kept pace – until now. Join Mesosphere, Portworx, and Trace3 as they show you real-world best practices from global enterprises running stateful containers in production.
First, Fernando Sanchez of Mesosphere will share his experience on how to best prepare for critical challenges when running cloud-native applications at scale. He’ll share his advice from years as a leader in the cloud-native movement, working on the front lines with DevOps teams around the world. In Fernando’s session you’ll get:
- An understanding of the critical challenges in running — not just deploying — containers in production
- Best practices for dealing with these critical challenges
- A start-to-finish checklist that will help you navigate your way through the cloud-native journey and ensure you don’t miss any critical steps to success
Then, Portworx VP of product Eric Han will show you how to address the five most common problems DevOps faces when running containerized apps in production. You’ll learn how to:
- Get volume persistence so you don’t lose data when containers fail
- Achieve high availability with smart provisioning, replication, and failover
- Automate data management
- Protect data so you can move quickly and securely
- Run any containerized app on any infrastructure with Mesosphere
Finally, Trace3’s David Ishmael, Director of IT Operations Analytics (ITOA), will discuss how to retrieve, analyze, and report on intelligent alerts and telemetry from these vendors in production-ready environments using a data-driven architecture.
